Kitti Kuremanee

กิตติ เครือมณี

Kitti Kuremanee was born in Chiangmai, Thailand in 1978. He started studying music with an age of 6 at Montfort College. He studied snare drum with Brother Antonio Maria, studied French horn in school band with Mr. Pinai Preechaporn, Marching fundamental and Drill design with Mr. Chumpol Charnnarong.

After high school he attended the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Chulalongkorn University where he studied french horn and major in composition with Prof. Dr. Weerachat Premananda, Prof. Dr. Narongrit Dhamabutra and Prof. Dr. Natcha Phancharoen. He graduated in composition at Chulalongkorn University in 2005.

In 2010-2011 Kitti attended to Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, Belgium where he studied post-graduate classical and contemporary composition with Wim Henderickx as well as wind band conducting with Dirk De Caluwe.

In 2003 Kiiti attended Aimachi Marching Band Nagoya, Japan as a horn lines member until 2007 where he studied horn with Mr. Martin S. Rhees former Chicago Symphony Orchestra member and former Dallas Brass member.

In 2006 – present, Kitti has served as a full-time lecturer at the Department of Western Music Faculty of Humanities at Kasetsart University. Part time lecturer at Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Music Business at Assumption University and Faculty of Fine Arts at Srinagarindharawirot University. Teaching music theory, tonal harmony, film music composition, orchestration and technology in music.

Kitti is also a well known film composer. His work debuted in 2003 with the film “Evil”. After that, the following works have been exposed sequentially. “13 Beloved” (2005), “Love of Siam” (2007), “Aka The Hill tribe” (2008), “Dream and Kiss from Dream, Sweet, Shy, Kiss” (2008) and “Home” (2012). He was nominated and received awards for best Motion Picture Score in 2005, 2007 and 2012 from “13 Beloved”, “Love of Siam” and “Home”. In March 2008 he was nominated for best composer for “Love of Siam” at 2nd Asian international Film Awards in Hongkong, China.

Kitti also has worked for stage musical as a composer and music director at Rachadalai Theatre, Bangkok. ” Lamzing Singer” (2012), “Ladda Land” (2013), “4 Po-dam Concert in Theatre” (2013) and “The Gunman Show Concert” (2013).
