Inspired to be a world-class Percussionist, Tanasit is unanimously recognised as the youngest talent among the leading Asian Multi-percussion soloist in this era. As Tanasit immersed himself in music since young, his musicianship has fully developed. His endless deep dive into music has allowed him to successfully perform various roles in the music realm: a music artist, instructor, guest judge, and composer. In high demand as a clinician, performer, and adjudicator, he has appeared throughout Thailand, the United States, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Austria, Belgium, China, Portugal, The Netherlands etc., and is an active member of various Music Ensembles, Bands and Orchestras. Mr. Tanasit Siripanichwattana started to study percussion at Assumption College in Bangkok, Thailand with Wichai Yongwanichjit. Then he studied Bachelor’s Degree with Kae Hashimoto, Shane Taylor Constant and associate Wannapha Yannavut at College of Music Mahidol University, majoring in Music Performance. In 2006, Tanasit was selected for Front Ensemble position of Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps(USA) Pit/Front Line and studied with Prof. Brian S Mason and Mike Jackson. Then in 2007-2008, he got Asian Uninet scholarship from Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien at Vienna (MDW), Austria to study percussion with Prof. Walter Veigl and Prof. Anton Mittermayr (Timpanist of Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra). He was invited to play with MDW Orchestra, MDW Percussion Ensemble and Contemporary Music Ensemble. He graduated Master’s Degree in Music (MARIMBA SPECIALISATION) and Post graduate program from The Royal Conservatory of Dance, Music and Theater in Antwerp, Belgium. Where he studied with Marimba Virtuoso Ludwig Albert, Nick Woud (Timpanist of The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) and Nando Russo. In 2012-2016, he was 1st prize winner in Solo Percussion category and 1st prize winner by 100 percent with special prize (Paolo Serrao Prize) in Chamber Music at European Music Competition 2012, Italy. In 2013, his group “Zenith Percussion Ensemble” also won Gold Medal in Percussion Ensemble World division at World Music Contest 2013 in Kerkrade, The Netherlands. And in 2016, he was 1st prize winner at International Hong Kong Percussion Competition and Festival 2016. His group “Crystallize Percussion Ensemble” won 1st prize at Marching in Okayama, Japan in 2018 and his students group “Per Le Sourire” also got 1st prize in the biggest chamber music competition “PGV International Ensemble Competition 2019”. Currently, Tanasit Siripanichwattana is teaching at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, Principal Percussionist/Co-Principal Timpanist of Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, Co-Principal Timpani/Percussioist of Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Member of Million Wind Philharmonic, Percussion Instructor at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music Youth Orchestra (PYO), Thai Youth Orchestra, head of Multus Percussion Duo, Zenith Percussion Ensemble, head of Time-Soul Percussion group, Crystallize Percussion Ensemble and International Artist of Adams Musical Instruments, Percussion House, Avedis Zildjian Cymbals, Evans Drumheads and Innovative Percussion.
